Fall!
So, I have a new little guy, Duncan, who is about 10 weeks old. I was holding him on the couch, and he wriggled out of my hand. The distance from him to the floor was 3 feet, but I broke the fall briefly when I lunged to grab him about half way down. I fumbled with him on the way down a couple times, but he hit the ground at about a 1 1/2-1 foot distance. He did not land on his back, when I saw him he was on the ground with his legs splayed. My guess is he hit the ground on his legs and then they splayed out. I felt him all over for injuries, and he never showed signs of pain and I noticed nothing. He’s running on his wheel rn so I don’t think his legs were injured. I’ll check his stools for blood tomorrow, (this just happened) but I was wondering if there is any other way I could tell if he had internal bleeding. Also, are there any other injuries he could have obtained from this? I love him to death already and I feel horrible. Any info would help greatly, but he is scheduled for his first checkup next week so I’ll ask the vet too. Thanks for reading my long post. Sorry if it makes no sense I’m scared out of my mind and tired as well.
