Default Hoggie has a red bump on face?

Hello all!!
I'm hoping you'll be able to help me identify this?

So I'd recently tried to switch my hedgehog over to paper bedding, which I believe is the cause of this.
After about a week she developed this bump on the left side of her face. I immediately switched her back to fabric blankets; it's been a few weeks now, but the bump hasn't gone away.
It doesn't seem to be hurting or bothering her, but I can't help but be worried.
Anyone seen this kind of thing before? Any tips or help before I take her to the vet? 😞

I would get her to the vet asap. It could be an abscess or a tumor or something else but I doubt it's related to the paper bedding.

I agree with Nikki, definitely need to take her to a vet asap and get it checked out before it gets worse.

Hopefully they can give her medication to treat it and/or at least investigate further what it is.

Keep us posted please, hoping the best for her ♡
