Default bald because mites or quilling?

I adopted Millie yesterday, and i realized there are some bald spot on her back. Her age is 1,5 month. She scratched her back sometimes at her cage. I checked her cage, she had 10 quills or more loss yesterday at her bedding (i use fleece as bedding). Is this normal or is this because mites or quilling? Thankyouu

It is not normal to have bald spots and she is already over the age when they have major quilling. It's best to take her to the vets and get them to check for mites to rule that out first. They can treat for mites as a precaution even if they don't see any. Best (and safest) treatment is revolution. Don't let them use ivermectin, it is too strong and hedgies have been known to overdose on it.
