Default Open sores, raw spots on face

Identical raw sores, on either side of her nose just below the eyes, that won't heal because my female hedgie keeps scratching the scabs off. Keeping nails trimmed and clean. Any suggestions to help heal?

I would be making a vet appointment as soon as possible. Those wounds look irritated and possibly infected. If she keeps scratching at them she's just going to make them worse and possibly scratch out an eye.

Yeh, our vet doesn't do weekend appts without a crazy high fee. We've been once already when it first developed a week ago and he said to keep it clean and come back in 2 weeks.

I would be there Monday morning when he opens. She could very well scratch her eyes and then you could have a very big vet bill.
