Exclamation hedgehog is wheezing and sneezing

several days ago alfred stopped eating as much, he's still eating but not as much as usual; he only ate a bit of his cat food and chicken, he ignored all his veggies and fruits. but then yesterday hes started sneezing and i think hes wheezing, and i think his nose is running because i put him on his back and his chin was very very wet. as far as i know, hes drinking well and hes on his wheel the normal amount, and his heat is fine. nothing has changed in his cage.
i'm going to take him to the vet asap because i am worried. he's nearly 3 years old.
is there anything i can do to help him? and is this as bad as i think.
thanks
EDIT also is it okay that he is not eating as much, as i know they can get very ill if they do not eat enough. i was considering syringe feeding him but is that neede

I’m not to sure, but you should definitely take him to the vet. I wish I could be more help but I’m not that much of a Hedgehog expert.

He probably has a URI and needs to see a vet for antibiotics. If he's eating a lot less than normal you're going to have to syringe feed him until he's feeling better.
