Default Please help me-sick hedgehog

This is my very first post. I’ve had my male hedgehog Hiccup for a little over a year. He’s probably about 1 1/2 years old. When I came home from school this morning I noticed that he was laying oddly in his cage. He usually sleeps curled up but this time he wasn’t. He’s provoked easily and growls loudly when I touch him, not the cuddly type. Today when I handled him he barely responded except to weakly curl up, no growling. When I set him down he took forever to uncurl and seems to be walking with only his front legs, dragging his rear ones. He has no interest in food or water but the rest of this week seemed to be eating and drinking just fine. I can’t afford to take him to an exotic vet. Can someone please give me a guess of what could be wrong? I’m really worried about him

He doesn't sound like he's in good shape. He needs to be taken to a vet asap. If you can't afford to take him to a vet why did you get a hedgehog in the first place?

What is the temp inside his cage and does he have a heating setup?
Is his belly warm or cool/cold to the touch?

Also if he stops eating or barely eating you need to start syringe feeding him straightaway. They can quickly become very sick if they stop eating for more than 24hrs. There's a syringe feeding tutorial on here if you need help.
