Today I was bathing my hedgehog her skin was dry so I decided to put some apricot oil on it, it accidentally spilled and got a bunch on her back. I got some off with paper towel then decided to rinse it off. I think about half of it came off doing that but there's still quite a bit on her back, is too much oil bad for hedgehogs? Is there a way to get more of it off? Please answer.
Thanks guys! |

It can be bad - it can keep the skin too moist & cause a yeast infection. I had it happen with my girl once (but she was having other health issues that may have contributed to it). You could try doing another rinse or two to see if more comes off, but otherwise I would just keep an eye on it. Hopefully it'll wear off & clear up soon!
