Default Hedgehog injury

Hi everyone. I'm new to the site and this is my first time posting. I have a hedgehog, Moshi, who somehow got a cut in her back. We're not sure how she got the cut but her quills are full of dried blood. My brother and I are trying to clean the blood out gently with a toothbrush and baby shampoo. Does anyone have any suggestions on what else we can do to help her?
I'll try to figure out how to post a picture of her injury.
Thank you all in advance

A wound like that needs to be seen by a vet. It may have been caused by an abscess that ruptures and may need antibiotics to prevent it from coming back.
