Default Trouble walking, head tilt, lethargic

So my hedgie, Lil Bob has been regressing quickly. He went from perfectly healthy to within a few weeks, not being able to walk. He constantly sleeps and has a really had head tilt. If hes turned onto his back, he wont curl into a ball. The vet said there isnt any problems with his legs. She hasnt found any definite evidence that would point to ear infection. This has been extremely rapid and he has been getting worse, quickly. Anyone have any idea what this could be? Were hoping it isnt cancer but we arent positive. Hes only 2 years old and a month. He lays on his side, cant move around much and kicks his legs. Its not looking good for him so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Do you think you can take him to another exotic vet to get a second opinion?

I agree, a second opinion is what you need. Does your vet have a lot of hedgehog experience?

What you are describing sounds horrible to watch and definitely isn't close to normal. Off the top of my head... stroke, tumour, or another neurological issue seems most probable to me (unfortunately). Though the head tilt is a very classic ear infection symptom. I'm sorry you have to see him like this, it must be very tough for you.
