Default Facial Lumps and excessive sneezing

Hi all,

Our little hedgehog Pebbles isn't doing so good as of late. We found her to be sneezing excessively. Every few seconds. Two lumps have also shot up on her face.

The problems been on going and we are no further forward with the vet not having a great knowledge on pygmys either. I'm also worried about the eye on the right side of the photo.

Originally when we found the lumps and sneezing we tool her up the vets (approx 3/4 weeks ago) and she was prescribed metacam and trimethoprim for a week. After this she had no improvement. However she's also not degraded at all. When we returned to the vets their only advice was that they could begin working down from a list of things it may be however I didn't think that was fair on her subjecting her to all forms of different medicine causing different side effects.

Life wise she's a happy hedgehog. She's approx 3.5 years She eats happily. She's drinks a large volume of water she's active on her wheel.

The lumps havnt increased in any size however the sneezing is on going which I think is being caused by the lumps.

Does anyone have any ideas? The only thing I can say which has changed is when eating a live wax worm she spat it out and has never had an appetite for them since.

I'm starting to thing it could be a oral/teeth issue or some form of allergy instead of the dreaded oral tumour however you guys may know better

Is it possible to find a vet with experience by any chance?

Did vet look in her mouth? Unfortunately most facial lumps end up being a tumour but you need to rule out teeth issues first. It's unlikely that an allergy would cause swelling like that
