Default My hedgehog has a bald spot of fur I'm really worried

Hi my little rescue boy I got him a couple months ago has a bald spot behind his right ear and I was wondering what could be causing it and what can I do to help grow the fur back ? Since I got him he's been really itchy when I bought him I never noticed until today he streached his neck out and there's a baldy spot about 1 and a half cm his other ear looks fine though he doesn't have mites or anything and I bathe him with none fragranced baby shampoo he hasn't been eating or drinking much lately but he's still pooping and peeing normal I rang the vets near me and they don't know much about hedgehog when I examined his bald spot it is just a bit pink he doesn't seem to be in any pain or stressed in any shape or form but when he's alone in his snug I hear him hissing at himself but I thought he was making those noises while he did his guy thing. Looking for serious answers only!

No unfortunately, but I saw my little guy eat some food last night so that's one less worry.

You are sure he doesn?t have mites (it can be hard to tell if they are just starting) if you are very concerned I?d take him to the vet, find the closest one. Does the other ear not have a bald spot as well, because by my boys ears there is thinner hair, and always has been, which is perfectly normal.
