Dry Skin on my new lady
I just picked up a new lady, Moon Pie, on Sunday. I didn't notice she had dry skin until I looked in her black lined hut the next morning.
I know I need to get her in an Aveeno Moisturizing Bath ASAP.
Then I'll be buying some flaxseed oil to put on topically. You can also put a little of this in the food correct?
I've been told so far to repeat every 3 days or so. Does this go the bath and the oil topically?
Just want to make sure I don't over/under do it.

Re: Dry Skin on my new lady
I love her name! The bath should help a bit and just a couple drops of flaxseed oil in the rinse water. You don't want to overdo the oil on their back. Oil on the food is good too, and that's the part you'd repeat every 3 days. Baths should only be every 2 weeks at the soonest, and most people go longer than that between baths since water also dries their skin out. Just keep an eye on Moon Pie with the oil on her food - if she starts having looser or softer poops, you may want to pull the oil back to every 4 or 5 days.
