Default diarrhea

Hello, I am new here and a first time hedgehog owner. I have a 12 week old female named Olivia.
I have had her for about 4 weeks.
2 days ago I noticed there was something wrong. She had not been eating for an unknown amount of days. Less than a week. (I assumed my husband was refilling her bowl every night during this time.)
Other than not eating, she has been acting like her normal self.
I took her to the vet yesterday, and the vet did not find anything wrong with her. I let her know I was concerned about Olivia's weight. (She felt thinner than normal.) So she gave me some Hills A/D to try, and told me to bring her back in if she does not have a bowel movement soon.
I gave Olivia the hills a/d last night when she woke up, and she devoured it. She loved it. She has also eaten some today. As for her normal kibble (a mix of innova low fat adult cat food and Katz-n-Flocken solid gold), she refuses to eat it.
Tonight, as she was running on her wheel I noticed a horrible stench. I turned the light on and I saw she had diarrhea. It was smeared all on the wheel, her feet, and a little on her face. I cleaned her wheel and gave her a bath.

Is the diarrhea from the food change? Or could it be something more serious?

If it continues, when should I bring her to the vet?

Any advice on what to do about the hard food? Or suggestions on what food I should try?

Any advice in general is appreciated.

Perhaps it due to sudden food change, but I'm not sure. Maybe if you moistened her dry food with a litlle water she might eat it. Or, mix the dry food and the prescribed diet.

I'm not an expert but it sounds like your hedgie simply doesn't like her regular kibbles.
Maybe the diarrhea was a flush out from constipation?

The diarrhea was probably from the change in food. Are you cleaning out her food dish and giving all new kibble every day? Some hedgies won't eat kibble that is left in their bowl. If she's eating the A/d that's a good sign and I would keep giving it to her. You can also try crushing some kibble and mixing it in with the A/d and see if she'll eat that.
