Default Is she sick? Please help.

So my name is Leslie and My girl Lilly is about a month and a half old and I got her 2 days ago. I just have a few questions here because I know how to care for a hedgehog but I'm still very concerned about her.
Her food is Innova and her treats are mealworms 1 or 2 a day. Is that okay?
Her poop is a mix of soft and liquidy some dark some dark green and some regular pellets? Do yall think this could be from stress or food maybe? Or god forbid she is sick.

My family is weary about her but they don't even like puppy's ha! I'm a more animal person and I've been reading about hedgehogs for ever it seems like. So I'm kinds on my own here. Please help if you can?!

Congrats on the new hedgie! The only things I would suggest are to feed the mealworms every other day, so she doesnt get a little chubby in the tubby . Also, her stool is like that probably because of her new enviroment. She will be stressed for maybe a week or two, but it'll be okay becuase you guys will be BFFs in no time And one last tip I don't know if you read or not, but it is a good idea to sleep with a piece of your clothes for a night then give it to her to sleep with so she gets used to your scent, it might help lower stress.

I was going to say exactly what Alexia said.... they get stressed those first few weeks. I remember bringing my Oatie home and he had those lovely poops. He also went from well water to Lake Michigan water with the change of food. If your little one still seems alert and active, I wouldn't worry unless this continues after two weeks.

Yup, like the other two said, she should be fine pretty soon, once she's completely settled in. Also, she should be fine to get mealies as treats every day unless you notice her actually getting overweight. Mealworms make great bonding treats since most hedgies think they're the best thing on earth! They also make good rewards (or bribes ) for nail trimming, baths, etc. to help make up for the unpleasantness.

Thanks guys y'all have helped me so much!
Funny story: my boyfriend came over and he loves Lilly so much! Well she was licking his finger and I've never seen her lick anything like she was his finger it's like she was obsessed. And then she opened wide and bit him! It was hilarious! I've never seen her bite me or anything.

Awww! Remember, some hedgehogs are like babies; they discover what's around them using their teeth lol

Might wanna warn him wash his hands next time! Sounds like she might've smelled something tasty on his finger.

Owning a hedgie means constantly cleaning poop. From the cage floor, wheels get covered in poop daily, and they love to wear poop boots (feet get covered in it from wheeling)
