Default Just got my scale XD

I weighed Briar as soon as I got my scale for him (it arrived like 5 minutes ago) He is 2 months 3 weeks and 3 days old. He weighed 199 grams roughly. Does this seem normal for his age????????????????????

I don't know if it's normal because I have never had the chance to weigh him before today

There is no correct weight for a certain age for hedgehogs. They just come in so many different sizes.

Which is why taking their weight regularly is the only way for you to find out the correct weight range for your particular hedgehog. As long as your hedgie's shape looks healthy, that's all there really is to go by.

Well he isn't a chubby monkey, but not too skinny either so I think he's normal

His breeder gave me a bag of the food he was eating before I got him (kitten food) I've been mixing gradually more adult cat food into it as he grows. We still have awhile to go before his food from the breeder is gone though
