Default Oreo quill loss and first vet visit

So Oreo's been loosing a ton of quills with large bald spots.
I took him to the vet, Dr. Munn, who btw is an amazing vet! Anyone in the Toronto area with a hedgie should be going to dr Munn. He knows his stuff and he's really good with hedgehogs!!
Anyways Oreo got his first round of revolution today and maybe it's just be but I feel like his skin already looks better. Lol. I know it's just wishful thinking but still.
Anyways I'll report back on how he's doing in a week.

An update on Oreo since getting his first round of Revolution last Saturday.

His skin has begun to clear up immensely which is great. Minimal flakes left behind and minimal quill loss now. I've been doing spot cleaning but am going to do another complete clean of his cage today. All his bedding has been washed in hot water and his cage disinfected. I'm trying to do a complete clean of his cage every couple of days to ensure that the mites do not harbour. He's on fleece with no wood in sight, so I'm not sure why/how he got mites :s So fingers crossed that he will only continue to get better.

He's been rather grumpy ever since I took him to the vet though, constantly huffing when I check on him. I don't imagine him having to grow all those quills back to be a fun process at all :s
