Help eye problem

This morning when I was handling my hedgehog I noticed some yellowish discharge in her left eye. Her eyelid looks funny too. It's like not properly on the eye and I can see the pinkish underside of the eyelid.. She seems irritated by it. She's 7 months old.. Is this an infection? Should I go to the vet tomorrow? Is there anything I can do for now? I wiped the discharge out.. Should I rinse the eye too? Is there anything that can preent it from happening again? I'm so worried!

If you have any sterile saline solution, I would rince it out with that.
Try to get in the vet today, if you can. She could have poked her eye on something (quill, side of cage, etc).

The vet is closed right now its like 6pm here and I have no time tomorrow for it, but I'll try my best to get her there tomorrow.
