Default Please help, I don't know what's wrong!

My hedgehog Bacon who is turning 4 in January has recently been worrying me. I've been looking around online and I can't seem to find an exact problem, so I'm gonna ask. At first he was doing great and I noticed when I held him on his back his feet would vibrate, I thought nothing of it really. Twice I saw him in the middle of the cage on his side unable to get back up. But now he's noticeably skinny and doesn't poop that much, he doesn't use his wheel and he struggles to walk, his feet being dragged and not used properly. His back end is very low to the ground and his back legs seem wide, and he often sits like a person. It seems he hasn't been eating or drinking much, I think it's from lack of mobility. He slips around and his cage and falls on his side struggling to get back up. I feed him scrambled eggs and he loves those. I have a human heating pad for him and it's at 85 but he sleep way more than usual. He lets me do more things than usual like clip his nails. I'm very worried. Am I a bad hedgie mom?

The possibilities I found were, constipation, WHS, hibernation or dehydration and being cold. I really don't know whats wrong and I should take him to the vet but we don't have all the money in the world. I'm only 15 so my parents pay for that kind of stuff.

85 is way too hot, also heating pads aren't recommended because the air needs to be heated. Can you explain the situation to your parents and ask to take him to the vet?

My parents know the whole situation and my hedgie is used to warmer temperatures when it was in the 70s he was trying to hibernate so I turned it up and now its in the 80s. Should I get a heat lamp or a space heater?

A ceremaic heat emitter is a good option if space heaters are too expensive for you. Make sure to get a thermostat and connect it to the ceramic heat emitter. What did you parents say? Are they willing to pay for vet bills?

They said if it gets to the point where we can't help him then we can take him. Right now we are going to try keeping him warm and fed so he doesn't hibernate.

I think the line of "we can help" was crossed already, he needs a vet.
