I've noticed my hedgehog's ears are looking "tattered", they are along the rims a dull looking colour compared to his pink ears. I read briefly that this could be some sort of fungus? How can I be sure about this, and is there anything I can do personally about this to help it dissipate? Or do I have to take him to a vet?
Thank you. |

Get some Udderly Smooth or Vasaline and rub them on his ears. It'll take care of it.

Rarely is it fungus. Use what Christemo says and try to rub it on once a day. After a couple of days the tatters should come right off.
