Hey all, my dear hedgehog Chocolate has started to lose quills again. He had a quill loss problem in the summer but I resolved the problem. He had some mites but it was taken care of. Now it's winter and he has began to lose a few quills here and there but nothing bad. Nothing new has occurred for him and our routine is the same as always. Could losing quills be a seasonal thing? If he dies lose a lot more than he is now, which isn't very much, I will take him to the vet again. Any advice?

Some hedgies seem to always loose a few quills here and there. There are a couple of mine that I always find one or two quills when I change their liners. If its not more than couple here and there I wouldn't worry about it.
