Default I'm trying Vitamin E

Hiii!! So It's my first time to own a hedgehog and I was wondering if d- Alpha Tocopherol Acetate 400 iu safe for external use. I noticed that he has a mildly flaky skin, he itches occasionally, and he sheds about 5-9 spines a day. I'm very worried for my baby and Chip is very very special to me. Please help us thank you

I think we were all sleeping. Sorry!

Those are exactly what you want to use. That's the kind that comes from natural sources and isn't made in a lab. Just poke a hole in a capsule and squeeze a few drops on your hoggy. Try to get it on his skin, not his quills. You can also squeeze a few capsules into a small dish and apply it with a syringe. I hope it helps his dryness!

Also, how old is Chip? If he's still rather young, the quill loss could just be quilling and nothing to worry about.

Yea I think so cos I live in the Philippines hahaha!

Oh okie dokie! I was a little bit worried cos I read something about the synthetic one having acids or acetate and some of it having grape seed oil. I was having second thoughts on whether I should give him some or not. Thank you so much!
