Default Water up the nose

Bos was in the tub and tried to climb the side, but he fell over and seems to have gotten some water up his nose. He's out now and wrapped in flannel, but he's making little squeaky sneezes. Is there anything I should do other than keep him warm?

Default Re: Water up the nose

Nope, there's nothing else you can do other than to make sure he's completely dry before you put him back into his cage. However, keep a real close eye on him for the next few days, make sure his breathing sounds remains normal(and no blowing snot bubbles), make sure he's eating and drinking the same amount. Many times, water up the nose can mean nothing, and sometimes, they can end up with a URI, which needs to be treated by prescribed meds quickly.
