GUYS SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THORNE!
OK so she hasnt been eatingas much but this may have something to do with it. She is completely struggling to walk (trying to upload video) and shaky. i tried giving her a bath because she loves baths. nothing. barely came out of ball. she was almost underwater so i (her head btw the water wasnt deep) picked her up worrying. she is standing right next to me just frozen. i saw that on her foot (i tired to get it on video) it looked like (hind leg) the somthing was digging into the back. i dont know if this is the problem, i hope so and not WHS. she is also making weird noises that kinda sound like hiccupps on and off every once and a while. I gave her a gentle push and she refused to walk and slid. she looks like she is in pain and I'm extremely worried. Please excuse my poor grammar and spelling right now. and ik you guys are probably gonna say take her to a vet. Just watching her in pain makes me wanna cry http://www.youtube.com/user/bowserjr98 look for Thorne and Thorne pt2

Do you think she's cold? When I take Dexter out and it's cold he refuses to move.
Her foot does look like somethings wrong though. It's not a healthy color. Take her to a vet for sure Maybe just hold her and comfort her for now ![]() |

Do you have heating for her cage? What kind? Do you know what temperature her cage is at? It sounds a lot like a hibernation attempt to me. Was her belly cool at all when you picked her up? You need to get her warm and keep her warm asap, especially if you gave her a bath. Either keep her on you (preferably under your shirt, against your body), or on a heating pad set on low to get her warmed up. If she's already toasty warm or is acting the same after being warmed up, then she will definitely need a vet visit. Her foot does look strange, I'm not sure if a hibernation attempt would cause that or not...Hopefully Nancy or Kalandra will see this soon and give some advice. They're the health experts.

Again, what kind of heating do you have for her cage? Do you know what temperature it's at? This is important information that we can use to give further advice or help. If she was attempting hibernation, changes will need to be made to make sure it doesn't happen again.

I suggest getting something ASAP, as in tomorrow or the next day if you can. You said she hasn't been eating, which means she's been feeling the cool for a little while, enough to slow her activity. Now that she's attempted hibernation once, she'll be much more likely to do it again in the next week or so. See if you can raise the temperature in her cage somehow until you can get heating supplies. Raise the house temperature if you can, get a space heater for your room, something. Heating is VERY important, and hibernation attempts can lead to her getting sick or dying if you don't get her cage to a safe temperature. Make sure that when you get your heating supplies that you get a digital thermometer as well so you can keep the temperature stable. It needs to be somewhere around 75-76 degrees at least. If you need help figuring out what to use to heat her cage, look at this. viewtopic.php?f=8&t=4579
