Hogglet bump

We've just picked up a baby hedgehog from the breeder and noticed that she has a small bump over her left eye. I've attached the best pictures we can get bit a baby hedgehog is difficult to photograph, any ideas what it could be? Google seems to think either cancer or an ingrown quill.

How old is she? Cancer usually doesn't develop until later years. I would talk to the breeder and take her to the vet ASAP

She's six weeks and three days old, but my first hog recently died from cancer so I'm super reactive to any bumps or anything right now. I literally just picked her up (the breeder is a 3 hour drive from my home) and noticed once I was ten minutes down the road, but when I called the breeder she brushed it off and told me to just keep an eye on it. I've made her a vet appointment for Monday but was hoping someone on here might have an idea about what it could be.

My hedgie has the exact same thing, she's always had it but she lost two of the quills that were on it.. I couldn't get a good picture because she's so squirmy, Did you take yours to the vet to find out what it was? It's been there since I got her (1 year ago) so I didn't think it was anything to worry about since the vet never said anything when I took her in for check ups. (Vet is very experienced with hedgehogs)

The vet thinks it's either an in grown quill (all of the quills on that part of her head are white and apparently grow in coarser?) or possibly just the muscle that she uses to ball up. She basically just said keep an eye on it and if anything changes to bring her back. I think I just panicked because of what happened with my previous hog.

That's crazy how similar their bumps look though, that makes me feel a little better
