Default Patch on Face

Hello everyone! I am a new hedgehog owner with a baby at about 8 weeks old. I picked her up a week ago and noticed what appeared to be a small patch of dry skin on the side of her face. I didn't think anything of it but have been monitoring it. The spot doesn't look like its really clearing up and maybe even growing in size. I contacted the breeder and she instructed me to give her a baby oatmeal aveeno bath and apply a drop of olive oil on it daily. The breeder gave me the impression she hadn't encountered symptoms like this before and told me to contact her if it doesn't clear up in a week.

I was curious if anyone on the forum has seen anything like this before. I have included pictures to the best of my ability.
She is very active and eating regularly.

Thank you all in advanced.

Personally, I would not put olive oil on it. IF it ends up being fungal or bacterial, you're just locking it in and creating a possible breeding ground, and also clogging pores.

Could you get some clearer pictures from the side? The pics are kind of blurry.
Is it red in any way?
If in doubt, it's always good to see the vet, as only a vet can do a skin scraping and give a proper diagnosis and medications as needed.

I don't see any redness. I applied some olive oil on her face last night and it really looks like it cleared up a lot of the dry skin by the whiskers over night. Now I can distinctly see a scab or some kind of skin issue by his nose. You think she just scratched herself? Here's a better picture

My Oreo had the same thing in the beginning stages and i also added EVOO to his nose and it also cleared up in a couple days.

Was this ever resolved? What was the problem and treatment? My Hedgie has the exact same thing now too, and I don't know what to do. I'm taking him to the vet on Monday. I'm really worried.
