Talking Dry looking ears

My hedgehog, Ine, has dry looking ears. I'm hoping it isn't mites, but if it is what can i do?
I don't have the money to go to the vet clinic.
I'm thinking that it's because it's realy hot and her skin is just dry. Could that be it?
Also, what can I do to cool her off? She seems to not want to eat as much because of the heat.
I'm worried about her.

Default Re: Dry looking ears

If it's tattered/dry/crusty ears this stuff is pretty good
You could also use flax seed oil, vit. e or joba oil for the dry ears.

Is your hog losing any quills or scratching a lot? If you don't have AC you could place a ceramic tile in the cage for the hog to cool off on.
Carolina Storm Wheels, est. February 2010, over 10,000 sales to date, thanks for your support!
