Unhappy Behavior Change

My little guy, Felix, is about a year and a half old, and I've had him for about 6 months. We moved to a new place about a month ago, and in the past 2 weeks he has had some dramatic behavioral changes: he is biting everything that gets near his face, and is entirely fearless. Mostly, though, he is biting me, won't let me touch him, and even chases my feet just to bite them when he sees me. Even though we moved, his life hasn't changed too much, except that he has MORE room to run around. Is this just a seasonal mating-type thing, or is there some reason I'm not thinking of as to why he would be acting so differently? He has always been shy because I got him as an adult, but I've never had problems with holding him or letting him run around on the floor.
Thoughts? Advice on correcting Felix's behavior?

Thanks!

Liz and Felix

He could have something medically wrong with him. If he's in pain, he won't be happy. Though, I'm no expert on this. But a vet checkup never hurts

I'm wondering if there are any new smells in the new place. Like if you have carpet instead of wood floors. Have you started to use a new lotion or cleaner?

Maybe he's mad at you for moving.
Personally I would just wait a week or two and see if he settles down.

Any sudden behaviour change requires a vet visit. Biting can be a response to pain or illness. If he hurts he will lash out. I wouldn't wait because if there is something going on medically then it will just get worse and become harder/more expensive to treat.

Thanks! I have noticed him anointing quite a bit, so maybe he is somewhat overwhelmed by new smells. I'll keep an eye on that and take him to a vet if he doesn't improve.
