Default Sores and Quill Loss HELP :(

I noticed a scab on Oskars head awhile back. It looked like nothing but I cleaned his cage and all the contents just to make sure. But lately the sores are spreading and getting worse.. he has big scabs around the base of several quills that almost fall right out when I bath him.. Please help

It sounds like he has a skin infection. He needs to see a vet.

keep him dry & make sure his cage also clean & dry & not too humid.. especially beware of the drinking bottle or drinking plate, this can also be the source of the humidity.. cmiiw..
scabs can get worse when the environment is humid & wet.. make sure he is located in different area with another pet if you have any.

as long as he can eat & play like usual, no worries until you see the vet in a week.. get well soon..

Personally, I would not wait a week. If this is a staph infection, it can get severe in that time span and be harder to get rid of.
