waffle blocks are little blocks shaped like waffles. you can build little hedgie houses out of them by simply sliding the peices together. but i am afraid that they might be too see through like igloos. from pictures they look kinda see through.
Waffle blocks come in a huge variety- some are transparent, some are solid, and they can range in size from a few inches to large enough to build a cage out of (think the size of a C&C block).
Looks like they sell a Waffle Block house at PetsMart.com (not sure if it's in the stores too), but this particular one does appear to be see-through. It does look like a great concept though since you can connect more than one together...
what i mean by waffle blocks is the kind made specially for pets...not for little kids. so, if you have the kind of waffle blocks specially for pets, do your hedgies use them, or are they too see through? :?: because they look like fun to experiment with...as in, like, building strange shelters with them...
