Default Adding an addition to my cage.

Seeing everyone's awesome cages makes me want to make something like that for my girl. I just have a normal super pet cage that's 30 inches long, not sure on how wide. And it is a decent size. But I was thinking about adding to it by maybe cutting out one of the sides of the cage and adding like a little room on the side. Has anyone done this? And is it a good idea? I have the cubes, I use them for a little cage as a place to put her when I have to do something when I have her out. And if someone can give me some ideas that would be great.

I think there is an image in the cage example thread of a pair of super pet or maybe marchioro's that were connected together. The owner had cut circular holes in the sides of both and used a PVC pipe in a similar fashion to how you would connect plastic tubs with a pipe.

Thanks. I was thinking more of like cutting a square in the metal bars, and having a little ramp going to a separate room made from the cube. But I am still unsure how I want to do it.

^ That is pretty much what I want to do but instead of it connecting to another cage have it connect to one I make out of the cubes and have a little ramp that she can climb up to get to it.
