I'm considering building Sylvie a new cage, a vivarium. She's currently in a Precision dog crate which works great but looks a little imposing. I like the look of this build attached below. The door is fly screen mesh used in reptile cages (see link). I'm looking for some material suggestions though as I would like to stay away from wood but still keep the sleek appearance. Ideas?

My best suggestion would be thick acrylic sheets. They come in a variety of colors and most big suppliers will cut it to the size you need. Here's a link http://www.google.ca/imgres?imgurl=http ... CB4Q9QEwBQ so you know what i'm talking about.
