It seems too small, also if the vivarium does not have adequate ventilation you will get moisture buildup (from pee) on the walls that turns into scum rather quickly. Hedgehogs have sensitive noses so trapping them in an un-ventilated cage would not be kind to them. No matter what you do, you will be surprised just how much hedgehogs move around, so fitting in a wheel is a must.
