That's not a Ferret Nation. As Pokey mentioned, it will work with a lot of modification.

Looks like you will need to add solid flooring to the ramps and levels , and solid walls half way up the bars as well as walls around the edges of levels and ramps. I don't see how it would be more work than a C&C. It seems like It would be like building a C&C but having the wire cubes pre-attached for you. Since it is directly on the floor heating it may be tricky and drafts may be an issue.

RIP Quigley, I miss you my little grumpus.

Judging by the picture it looks like it will be a great cage once it has been modified and made safe for your hedgehog.

If there are gaps in between the metal bars like in the picture you will have to put something solid on top of all surfaces to prevent their little feet from getting jammed in the cracks. It will also be needed that you provide walls on either sides of the ramps and platforms, as the others have stated hedgehogs have bad vision and a tendency to walk right off raised surfaces. Lastly I would recommend using fleece seeing as wood shavings or care fresh style bedding would slowly make its way down all of the ramps and end up in a heap at the bottom.

I agree, it will take creativity, but should end up quite cool. I'm sure you and your little friend will love it!
