Default Coroplast Litter Tray

Tonight I was a bit bored and while cleaning Lily's cage, realized that her previous litter tray (a cardboard shoebox cover with plastic wrap taped over it) was little a bit tattered. I decided to try making a quick one out of coroplast, and see if it would work as well as the shoebox cover did. I made it the same size, and tried to make the walls about the same height. It's a bit rough, but I'm pleased with it! It fits under her CSBW just fine. I put packing tape (which is what I used to keep it in box shape) over the tops of all four sides so she won't get hurt on the edges, which were kind of sharp. I just thought I'd post this in case anyone was looking for something to use for a litterbox.

I have extra cloroplast now & may just have to try this for my new bucket wheels.

Thanks for sharing! I'm curious how it will hold up.

We use coroplast a LOT around here. A little tip from McGyver: silicone along where the holes are to prevent pee from getting inside and it forms a nice smooth edge to protect teeny toes and feet. Even *I* can do it.

Oooh, thanks Cindy! I was sitting there trying to figure out some kind of plastic cover I could put over the edges to protect her feet/legs, when I realized dur, the tape I was just using would work at least for short term, lol.
