Default Question about soaps

Hey all! I had a quick question about Palmolive Ultra Dry Skin with Aloe. Mom bought it the other day to use at the kitchen sink and I usually use whatever soap is there when I'm really scrubbing everything down in Pretzel's cage. Is this unsafe to use? I remembered reading that aloe is toxic to hedgehogs so I wasn't sure.

The ingredient listed is "Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice". Here's a link to the rest of them if you guys are curious.

Thanks a ton!!

Rinse. Plenty. Whatever you use to clean - soap, soap with aloe, shampoo, vinegar, bleach... Just rinse the heck out of it and let it completely air dry.

Oh I will definitely rinse! Just wasn't sure if it was going to leave behind something or if contact with it even after I was finished washing was going to harm her.

You can spray it with a 50/50 vinegar solution when you're done rinsing, then wipe it off. That should cut any smell or soap residue.

Awesome. Will do. I've got an empty spray bottle that will do just the trick.

Thanks for the help you two!!

Hey just popping in for an update: the vinegar/water mix is AMAZING! I had an eco-friendly spray I was using for a few days that didn't really work very well... they had a line of wet wipes I was using for quick cleaning that I really liked, so I was hoping I'd like their spray too. I tried the vinegar/water mix and it really cuts all the grime and poop really well. Her wheel isn't half as much of a demon to clean up.

Thanks so much for the suggestion!!!

Yeah...the tried and true (and cheap) ol' vinegar and water solution for everything!

HHC members sinle-handedly support the vinegar-producing industry.
