Default weighing for growth?

I have owned a few hedgies before as well as helped friends and family with theirs when they had to go out of town. But I haven't had experience with new hoglets as I NEVER considered breeding them.
That being "said" . My Buttercup came to us via a petstore not planned. Only went in to waste time waiting for meds to be filled lol. I saw her and and i experienced anger for the way she was housed and love for her color and personality, she clearly had not been there long as she was loving instantly and not afraid to be handled and they confirmed this she had only been there a few weeks.
Well short version Buttercup made me a grandma (way to young!Lol) to a baby girl. I can not express how much of an amazing mother she has been! But wanted to know how to track her growth properly. I don't have any information on momma and idk I just feel like I should try for her baby.

So what exactly are you asking? You want information on how to weight the baby? Or are you looking for help with a baby hedgehog??

I think I am asking is there an average weight (grams) as for what a baby hoglet should weigh on a daily/weekly level until they are weened.
I can't find anything online regardless of mother raised or handfeed on what the baby should average and by what age.

As long as they are gaining weight, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Every hedgehog weighs a little different.
However, I am not a breeder and don't ever claim to know as much as others do!
You could PM one of the breeders here too!

Just curious lol . I weighted Sweetpea last night (12 days old) and she is already 83grams. I know babies tend to be on the big side when they are the only hoglet. But every one I have talked to has said how HUGE she was (not bad huge ) she is clearly gaining. Not worried about that. But I never had a newborn before and never planed to have on ( or repeat ) curiosity got me and wanted to compare sizes of single baby to what a liter would have been.
