Hello friends. Im new to the site and love it. Have posted a question......lol well I dont know where as im still getting used to the site but have another I was hoping I could get help with. My hedgehog (about9-10 weeks old now) had 2 babies unexpectedly. One survived and will be 15 days old on friday. Knowing itll start moving around soonish I am worried about the water dish. Its about an inch maybe inch and a half high and wide enough for mommy to fit in to feed(food bowl is same size) should I be worried that the baby could fall in and drown when it comes out to explore. What size dish should I use instead if this is too big ensuring mom gets enough water?

A water dish that is usually higher than 1" around the sides is suffice the keep the baby at bay. Babies would normally avoid water by instinct and just keep hanging around their mom. Most hedgehogs get their necessary moisture in their food as well. Feeding a lot of gutloaded bugs can help ensure this
