Default Hedgehog sleep?

Well, she used to sleep in her igloo, with a blanket i left in my bed for a few nights (to get my scent) now she sleeps under her flying saucer wheel. i thought it was because of not having enough things to snuggle with in her igloo, so i cut up some fleece into squares, and triangles and whatnot, and put her in there, she just left and went to wheeling. I dont really mind, but is it safe? she actually goes UNDER the piece that is on the floor. totally out of sight if looking from the top.

my hedgehog actually does the same thing, but with her igloo. from reading and personal experience, your hedgehog just goes where it wants to be, and where it's most comfortable. i really don't think it'd put itself in harms way, plus they are natural burrowers in the wild. if thats where she wants to go, then it should be fine!

Sounds perfectly safe to me. Like Kristie said, if she's comfortable, that's where she's wants to sleep for now. The only down side is that you may want to wait until she's awake to clean the wheel. I'm guessing she'd be pretty grumpy over losing her hidey-hole.
