Post Heat Lamp
Can I use a heat lamp? What kind, how hot?

would the light bother a hedge hog?? Them being nocturnal and all...

going to pick my son's hedgehog up tomorrow, someone get back please!!

You need warmth to be available 24-7. you can buy a ceramic heat emitter, which produce no light. 50-75 watts should be good.

The heat needs to be 72-76*F or 23-25*C year round.
