Default pet sitters

So I am going away in late December for 6 or 7 days.
I have a best friend and a great neighbour who always help look after my cats and fish when I go away.
I am thinking ahead for Tiggys care when I am gone. Having someone come in to feed her and check the temp and her well being is not an issue. Either my best friend, my neighbour or her teenage son (or a combination of the three) will come twice a day. What I am thinking about is her getting snuggles and playtime.
Do you think it would be more stressful then it is worth to have someone new take her out and handle her? I am concerned about balancing this possible stress with her not being handled for a week.

any opinions?

I would have someone get her out for at least 20-30 minutes if at all possible. That gives them a chance to make certain she's behaving normally & being active, as well as check her over for anything else suspicious. Since you have a few months before you're going away, I would have any (or all) of those that will be taking care of her come over a few times between now & then. You can get her out, introduce her to them, show them how to correctly hold her and what to look for, etc.

im thinking of asking my neighbours son to specifically care for Tiggy and pay him for it.

I dont pay my neighbour or friend. we trade off and care for each others pets. but this is much more time consuming then feeding fish and cats.
