Question Should I take my guy's house out?

So Quilliam never sleeps in his house anymore. He does seem to go in there sometimes because I do see poop on the side of the igloo sometimes. Not a ton, but once and a while.

Should I take it out so he has more room to roam? Or just leave it as a place for him to visit on occasion?

I would leave it in there just in case he wants to go in it. But it really doesn't matter, it's all up too you!

I would leave it in. Unless you have something else in his cage where he can hide if he wants too. Hedgehogs should have some type of house in their cage.

Do you have anything inside of his house for him to feel warm or comfortable like a sleep sack or a t-shirt or fleece strips, etc...? If not, try putting something warm and cozy in there and see if he will start using it again.

If he is sleeping somewhere else, I personally would take it out for a while, and reintroduce it after a month or two. I took my girl's igloo out when she became infatuated with her PVC pipe. Then I reintroduced it after a few months and she liked the igloo again. Removing and reintroducing, and replacing things with new or different things seems to be interesting for my hog. Otherwise she gets bored with everything she has.

He has a snuggle sack but wont go in that either, he all of a sudden decided he wants to sleep under his liner directly under his water bottle (I have two cages connected and I have a water bottle in one, and a water dish in the other).

Maybe i'll take the igloo out and leave the snuggle sack in case he wants to hide for a while.
