So I rearranged and re-did Pipers cage I switched to fleece liner on one half and her potty half i have a card board box thats cut to fit inside the other half with paper towels on the bottom and then aspen pine for her "litter"...I watched her for the first little bit when I put her in, she went right over to the cardboard side and was trying to pull on it and licked it then started annointing...is this ok or should I take it out

As long as she isn't ripping off huge chunks and eating them, you shouldn't have a problem. I'd leave it in unless she's paying too much attention to it.
