Do it during bath time. In fact, it doesnt even have to be bath time! I put Idgie in the tub with a little bit of warm water, so he cant ball up. Plus he really likes baths. And then I put him up against the edge of the tub, the side I am on, grab a paw and clip one nail at a time. Just get when you can. Dont stress about getting every single nail.

Sophie gets three mini-baths a week and I just work nail inspection / clipping into that. If a regular thing, then it never becomes a big production. I never need to clip more than one or two nails at a time.

Sophie hated baths and nail clipping also, but I just made it a required thing. We have both gotten to be pretty good with them. I don't have video of the early efforts because that was one thing too many. Ha!

Here is the most recent. I only clip one nail this day, but give all the nails a good look. When we first started she would twist and squirm and writhe;, and pull her legs and feet away from me with all her might. This is definitely an 'after' video. I wish I had video from when she/we were not nearly so good at this.
