Default Hedgehog subspecies?

What type of hedge hog is this? It looks different from the ones I see everyone have. Is it just a different color or is it truly a different subspecies?

Oh I know!! absolutely adorable from what I understand, you can have them as a wonderful pet and when rolled up they are about cantaloupe size. Although I've never actually seen one so don't quote me!

That's an European hedgehog. They're bigger than APH's. You can't have them as pets since that's illegal - at least in most countries I know of, I don't know any country in Europe where it's legal but there might be one. They're wild animals so they aren't bred as pets.

This one looks like a baby though!
