Default How many "treats" should you give a hedgie per day/week?

I decided to give my new hedgie some scrambled egg as a treat. I only gave him one little piece about the size of his food yesterday and one piece today. Could I give him more?

How much per day or per week of "treats" (or his non-regular food) would be okay to give? I know when giving them new things to check the poop for irregularity, and so far so good. He seems to like the egg.

I believe with eggs, I saw someone say somewhere (I can't even remember where though, ugh, sorry!) that you shouldn't feed more than one egg a week (or something similar) because of the cholesterol. But with fresh foods in general, IMO, doing half as much as they eat of kibble is a good amount for nightly - so if they eat 2 tablespoons of kibble, no more than 1 tablespoon of fresh foods. That'd depend a lot on the food too though - fruits are high in sugar, so less is better for those. And honestly, I'm not an expert and my opinion on how much is solely an opinion & what I went with for Lily. She got 1-1.5 tablespoons of mixed baby foods (1-2 jars of meat, 2-4 of veggies, and 1 of fruit, all mixed up) each night and she absolutely loved it, and did fine on it. I'm sure it also varies by hedgie, so part of it is likely experimentation/trial & error with your own hedgie. And then just thinking about the possible side effects of a food as far as how often you want to feed it - watery things like watermelon can cause loose poops if you feed too much, sugary things could cause tooth issues if you feed a lot, fatty things are probably better in moderation too, etc.
