Pros: Very cute
a joyful part of my life
very silly behaviors
makes me smile a lot
very easier to care for (too a degree. This is my first hedgie so I'm still learning things)
relieves stress for me
some make cute little squeaks when they sleep which is adorable

Cons: Cleaning a poopy wheel
don't cooperate when trying to trim nails
food is kinda expensive (but I do want the best for him. Plus hedgies don't eat a lot so a couple bags last a while)

That's all I have to say. There are more pros then cons when it comes to hedgies

I agree with what Sonic said- except for the food. Compared to most other animal- food is a lot cheaper since it lasts a long time.

Another con: Temperature + lighting requirements.

It makes me paranoid (and it hasn't even gotten cold yet this year.)

Hedgies are so great, the pros definitely outweigh the cons! Each one is different and will make you smile in different ways, even if he/she is always grumpy and wont come out of a ball, that little face in the ball makes me smile . Its also kind of cool when people want to see them and everyone holds the hedgie and its all grumpy but when you hold it its so comfortable and they're like "Wow hes so comfortable around you!". Don't mean to brag but thats one of my favorite parts of being a daddy.
