Default How to not let my hedgehog roll into a ball for medication

I had previously posted about my hedgehog having bloodystain on the wheel n found a small little wound on its back leg paw under her toe. So i removed the wheel n didn give her any for a week. Her paw recovered few days back n so yesterday i decided to give her the wheel after her bath but then i notice during her bathing time tat her same leg paw has a wound again. This time its like covering her whole last toe. Its not a scab or bloody. Its almost like her skin color but just a little more yellow so i think tats y i didn notice it. So i brought her to the vet n only then did we realise tat the toe n the paw of tat leg is slightly swollen. N there seems to be a faint red line across the top of her toes (example like her toes had been bending for smtime n created the line.) There is nothing sharp in her cage n i didn know wat/how it happen. My qns is she gets really angry for the cleaning n application of meds to her paw n will half roll n keep her legs in her body. Its like she know i needed to clean her back leg n will only keep them. How do i get her to not roll n keep her feet?

Try doing it right when you wake her up, before she really realizes what's happening. That's how I'm able to trim Piglet's nails, or else he balls up the same way. Or maybe distract her with some treats while you do it.

Also, in the future, it would be helpful if you fully spell out words when you write. It was a little difficult to read this post and people are more likely to respond if they can read the question clearly.
