Default Worried about long hair getting on my hedgie

I have very long hair, almost down to my waist. And any time my hedgie cuddles with me or walks around during play time I'm constantly worried he's going to get one of hairs wrapped around his little leg. I always check him before putting him back but I've found my hairs all over the room. So then I worry what if one blows in his home while I'm asleep or away at work? What can I do about this??

I have long hair too (though not quite as long) and worry about that as well. You are right to be mindful of checking legs/feet each time you put him away. Not to scare you but there have been instances where hair will get wrapped around and cause a good amount of damage...so it's smart to always keep an eye out, I always do as well. As far as hair possibly getting in the cage I don't think there is much you can do besides keep close watch of the inside of his cage and maybe also do a quick check when you put him back in for the night. You can also be sure to vaccuum the area frequently. As long as you stay diligent I don't think there is much else you can do but it should be fine
