Default Help me identify this hedgie food?

So when I got my hedgehog they gave me a sample of the food he was on, but I forget what it was called and cannot find it anywhere, also the breeder is quite far away from where I am and I can't contact them. It was in a relativity small rectangular box and had a hedgehog on it, I'm pretty sure the kibble was little X's. I'm asking becaus ehe hasn't been eating other then a few nibbles on some foods, so I thought if I gave him his old kibble he would eat it this time. Thanks!

That brand is actually crap. If it has a hedgehog on it, it's terrible for them.

I have deleted the other thread you started that is the same as this one. Please don't multi-post the same question, it only needs to be asked once, in one topic.

If the food you're asking about is a commercial hedgehog food then its crap. All commercial hedgehog foods aren't very good for hedgies and some is even dangerous to them. You should be feeding a mix of high quality, corn free cat food.

Nothing is better than that. It's only been a week, he's still settling in. He will eat, it may just take time.

I don't know what kind of hedgehog food it was, but not all hedgehog food is total "crap" though. I kinda get tired of hearing that on here. My hedgie was eating one that was not terrible (Sunseed VitaExotics) - it did not look like that though.
There are some that are not that bad...see Reapers old post about the best hedgehog foods. Certainly it is better than NOTHING.

With that being said I don't think I would search high and low for that food. I would just give her some wet cat food, meal worms, or other treats like scrambled egg, chicken, hamburger, whatever to see if you can get her eating and stimulate her appetite.
She should begin eating soon. It is not uncommon for a new hedgie not to eat at first.

Good luck,
Susan H.

He has eaten chicken and peppers recently, and I hope this will stimulate his appetite! Thanks everyone!
