Default Quilly hedgehog?

Hello everyone! I have a few questions regarding my quilly 7 1/2 week old hedgehog... I am, of course, handling her every day for at least one hour and I wanted to know if this is beneficial or causing more harm than help... I have read that oatmeal baths are comforting for a quilling baby hedgie and I have given her two within the past two weeks. She seems to enjoy them ad afterwards is calm and relaxed. Are these baths good for a quilling hedgehog as I know they have dry skin. Are there any other ways to soothe a quilling hedgie? All answers are appreciated!

Yes, oatmeal baths are good for a quilling hedgie. There is also a product called Humilac Spray that is supposed to be fantastic for dry skin, I'm planning on getting some soon as my guy is starting to quill and is also getting dry skin.

If you don't have the spray available, you don't need to run out and get it. Plain old oatmeal baths work just fine.

You should definitely keep handling as much as possible.
